There's only 2 places for real Montreal Smoked Meat! Schwartz's and Abies. Same quality, taste and service! Old style meat and atmosphere. Don't delay, if you're coming from out of town, this is an authentic Montreal experience! ENJOY!!
Food is never consistant, the sandwiches can be moist and usually very dry. Service is good, but the boys behind the counter lack smiles and conversation abilities.Handling food and money is never a good idea, which I have mentionned on numerour occasions. It will be sometime time before I go back or even recommend this place.Abie never seems to be around, that might be the problem.
